LiveLoveChi Privacy Policy

Effective date: June 30, 2020

Thank you for using this service, which is owned and operated by LiveLoveChi, LLC (“LiveLoveChi,” “we,” “us,” and “our”) This Privacy Policy (our “Policy”) describes the information we collect from or about you through the LiveLoveChi website and mobile apps on which it is posted (collectively referred to as the “Site”). It also describes how we use and share that information and some of the steps we take to protect your privacy. This Policy, which is incorporated into and is subject to LiveLoveChi’s Terms of Use, describes the information that we gather from you on the Site, how we use and disclose such information, and the steps we take to protect such information.

Scope of This Policy

This Policy applies to the information we collect from or about you through this Site. It does not apply to information we collect through other means, such as over the phone or in person. Some of the information LiveLoveChi collects through this Site may be “personal information” (also known as “personal data”), which is information that identifies you personally, alone or in combination with other information available to us.

LiveLoveChi has provided this Policy so that you will know what information LiveLoveChi collects, how we use this information, the types of third parties with whom we may share this information, and some of the choices that are available to you. By using this Site, you are consenting to the collection, use, disclosure, and transfer of your personal information in the manner this Policy describes.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide Directly. When you use the Site, LiveLoveChi may collect information about you, including your name, email address, mobile phone number, geographic area, or preferences and we may link this information with other information about you. You may provide us with information in various ways on the Site. For example, you provide us with information if you request that we contact you or if you leave comments on pages on the Site.

Information From Third-Party Sites and Services. You may be able to register with, log on to, or enhance your profile on this Site by choosing to automatically populate the requested information fields with information you previously provided to a third-party website or social media platform. By doing this, you are asking the third-party to send us information, including personal information, from your profile on that website or platform. We treat that information as we do any other information you give to us when you register, log on, or enhance your profile.

We may display third-party content on the Site, including third-party advertising.  Third-party content may use cookies, web beacons, or other mechanisms for obtaining data in connection with your viewing of the third party content on our Site. Additionally, we may implement third party buttons (such as “like” or “share” buttons) that may function as web beacons even when you do not interact with the button. Information collected through third-party web beacons and buttons is collected directly by these third parties, not by LiveLoveChi. Information collected by a third party in this manner is subject to that third party’s own data collection, use, and disclosure policies.

Information from your browser or device. LiveLoveChi collects information that is sent to us automatically by your web browser or mobile device. This information typically includes your IP address, the name of your operating system, the name and version of your browser, the date and time of your visit, and the pages you visit. The information we receive may depend on your browser or device settings.

The information we receive from your web browser and device is not, in and of itself, personally identifiable. Generally, we use this information in the aggregate to help us improve this Site and make it more compatible with the technology used by our visitors. However, we may combine it with other information in an attempt to identify you or we may combine it with information that does identify you. We may also review our server logs for security purposes—for example, to detect intrusions into our network—and we might share our server logs, which contain visitors’ IP addresses, with the appropriate investigative authorities who could use that information to trace and identify you.

Information Collected by Cookies and Other Technologies. When you use our Site, we may send cookies – small text files containing a string of alphanumeric characters – to your device.  We may use both session cookies and persistent cookies. A session cookie disappears after you close your browser. A persistent cookie remains after you close your browser and may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to our Site or other sites. Please review your web browser’s “Help" file to learn the proper way to modify your cookie settings. Please note that if you delete, or choose not to accept, cookies from our Site, you may not be able to use all the features of our Site to their fullest potential.

We may also automatically record certain information from your device by using various types of technology, including “clear gifs" or “web beacons.” This automatically collected information may include your IP address or other device address or ID, web browser and/or device type, the web pages or sites that you visit just before or just after you use our Site, the pages or other content you view or otherwise interact with on our Site, and the dates and times that you visit, access, or use our Site. We also may use these technologies to collect information regarding your interaction with email messages, such as whether you opened, clicked on, or forwarded a message. This information is gathered from all users, and may be connected with other information about you.
